I like these updates on the Reign players, very cool. Do you think Zykov will ever make the jump to the big club?

Thank you , fun read.
I really only think Kempe is the only top 6 prospect we have in the pipeline. Mersch a likely 3rd maybe 2nd line type (replacing King eventually). I know Zykov's production stagnated in the Q, I think he'll get a shot someday, we'll see if he makes it. We seem to have a ton of bottom 6 prospects, which makes the contracts Clifford and Nolan got last year (71 more so than 13) quite puzzling. I wouldn't mind seeing Crescenzi, Dowd, and Auger all given a 4th line audition this season. Our 4th is not horrible, but maybe they could bring more. Not much on the back end to get excited about, not sure if any currently at Ontario will ever get the call.

I think with more time put into his awareness and defensive work he will be an NHL player. Bottom six at the least. Very tenacious and hard working

Fine points and I am inclined to agree. Kempe is probably the only player with a real shot at top 6 and staying there. All others have a tweener quality to them ala King or Lewis

I am absolutely headed out to Ontario this season to catch a game.

I think Mersch has looked pretty solid out there for the big club, I hope the staff see's that too

Thanks for including info. on the Reign. I was at both games this weekend and a good showing particularly without Mersch.
it is evident that this is a "D" first system.
I thought your analysis of Dowd was on point. You can see that he is a team leader particularly on Sunday's game. I would love to see him get a shot with the big club as i think this kid can score.
